ABOUT THE BOOK

CATACOMBS OF HELL

Madeline Windsor is hearing impaired, beautiful, strong, and determined. She finds herself in the perilous situation—alone in the stark darkness and deathly presence, miles inside the catacombs of Paris, armed only with her hearing aid and five matchsticks.

She was raised in Canada and came to France to pursue her dream of having her own dressmaking shop in Paris, where it became a reality. Rarely out on dates due to her hearing impairment, little did she know that Jack Holt had been captivated by her from the time she set foot on their land.

He is a reputed vineyard and coffeehouse owner and a millionaire playboy. Jack met his match upon meeting Madeline, who is unlike any other women in his life.

Deep within, Madeline wondered if fates would let her stay in Paris or return to Canada. Now, in stark darkness, surrounded by the terror of the catacombs, Madeleine is caught between life and death.

CATACOMBS OF HELL

“Let me out of here,” she screamed and screamed to deaf ears, till she remembered being dragged behind a wall.

“Come on, girl, you get up and move, Jack is looking for you.”

She remembered what Jack had told her at the time, how people went in and lost their way, only to be found dead later in the catacombs—a cruel and harsh death. “Ohhh nooo, I don’t want to die in here, please, Jack, find me, I need you, oh dear God, please show me the way out.” She let out a stifled cry.
